If we take a moment to actually think about how far we need to go in our lives and how far we have already come, we can pave a path of success for us without having to go through any additional burdens. Every person wants to lead a fulfilling and enriched life and they have dreams about their careers, personal lives, and each and everything. But, how exactly do we know what success is? How do we define success?
A lot of famous people have taken their turns on defining success and making people see as to what does success actually mean but, all we can gather this far is that all those definitions are right in their own perspective and here is what they all mean. Learning to grow and evolve with life is the only thing that can guarantee your success in life and is the only thing that will ensure your quality of life to be what you want it to be. In order to make the best out of this short life, we need to learn to evolve and grow or else we will forever be left behind. Change and evolution do not come overnight. This is a journey that a person has to take daily with small efforts and baby steps to make sure that they want to go without having to stumble. But, on the other hand, this has to be a constant effort.
Success is not all the time exactly what we want it to be. Sometimes our definition of success does not line up with what success exactly is. Success from a philosophical perspective is us being able to contribute to the lives of people around us. The greater good is what defines success. We need to work towards the betterment of the people and towards the struggle of making this world a better place.
So, in the light of these definitions, does it mean that wealth is all we need to be successful? Or, money is the only measure for success? Nathaniel Jacobson says in his book, That’s The Way I Say No (978-1656571663), that success is not always what we find good for ourselves. Success more often than not means that people are actually successful and consider themselves at peace when they start struggling for the greater good and start making efforts for people other than themselves.
