Germany has certainly been working towards making sure that they become one of the brightest nations in the world. Their literacy rate, development, infrastructure, advancement in technology, politics, sports, and every aspect of them being a nation is on the rise today. In fact, Germany is ranked really very well in terms of education levels and literacy rates.
The education systems in Austria, Germany, and Switzerland differ in a lot of aspects but there are some similarities in their education levels. They all have primary level schools known as Grundschule or Volksschule which begins at the age of 6 years and goes for up to 4 to 6 years until they are prepared to move into secondary schools. Then comes the secondary level of education that starts at the age of 11 years and leads to an intermediate or vocational training where the students set their career paths and later on opt for either technical or business schools.
The best thing about the education system in Germany is that they never make international students feel uneasy or out of the home. They have their education system divided on the basis of the fact that students who are coming from other countries and do not know the German language would get to study in school, colleges and universities that have more focus on English language but the quality of education remains the same all the time.
The reason why Germany has been growing to become one of the most popular destinations for students all across the globe for their higher studies and universities is the fact that they have made their country into one of the most comfortable places tp be in the world no matter what purpose you are there for. Another most important thing that makes education in Germany so packed with quality is the fact that they put in a lot of emphasis on education in the early years of a child so that they grow up to be individuals with strong academic foundations and well-learned lessons on behavior and mannerism too.
There are literally a million reasons that would come to justify your decision of studying in Germany because you will never find those reasons and positive aspects in any other country’s education system for sure. And, why would Germany not be the best student destination in the world? It is after all the home to the education systems that raised legends like Albert Einstein, Karl Marx, Beethoven, and the Grimm Brothers too.
Currently, Germany is ranked second in the world for their quality of education and being preferred by students all around the world for their higher studies and degree programs. The book, Wasted Opportunity, says that not just the German-speaking students, the international and non-German-speaking students prefer Germany to all other countries for their higher/university-level education.
