Why do people chase success and long for it in order to be happy in their lives? | Nathaniel Jacobso

We have all been spending our lives in the chase for success. But, have we ever stopped for a second to think as to what exactly do we mean by success? What is it that we need in order to think of ourselves as successful? Money, fame, power, education, love, relationships, there are a thousand meanings of success varying from the perceptions of person to person.

Only a few people get their chance to experience success after planning and working for it while the rest of the people are merely a part of someone else's plan towards success. On an individual level, all of us have our ideas of success. Some of us live and work for acquiring money, some for fame, some for success, and some people love for the relationships around them and they consider those happy relationships as their success.

When we are young we are the most capable of learning and developing personal growth trends. But, all these habits and stronger instincts have to be triggered by something and it can be anything like a good experience, an accident, or any other life-altering moment that can teach you what you need in order to grow and what your personal strengths are. Nathaniel Jacobson in his book, That’s the Way I say No (978-1656571663) that change is a natural thing and we have to embrace it if we want to grow and develop a healthy and effective personal growth regime for ourselves. The more you resist change, the harder it becomes for you to accept it.

Change is an opportunity given by nature to us in order to grow. If we cannot accept change, maybe nothing bad happens to us at the moment but at some point and time in our lives, we will be posed by the same challenge again and again until nature itself teaches us to embrace it. Some of the greatest and most-genius minds in history had sworn to live by the rule that the only thing that is constant in life is "Change".
