What are the attitudes and behaviors of hackers and cyber-attackers? | Jason Rorie

Cybercrimes are increasing throughout the globe. The rate of such illegal crimes is growing, no matter where you are you do not know that if you are being followed or if someone is breaching your safety or privacy. The number of people being socially abused is increasing day by day. Information technology through which we can benefit to the next level is being misused by people. Rather than looking at the bright side people are busy with the evil side of technology. Many developed countries are trying to take strict action against such illegal activities by enforcing laws and regulations and creating awareness among the people.

Ethical hackers are usually the company hired to make sure that the company's systems and databases are secure enough. They try to exploit the vulnerabilities of the business without affecting the systems of sabotaging the business itself. Ethical hackers have permissions from the board as well as the organizations to make sure the system is secure and to figures out as to how much it would take for a hacker to attack the systems. The companies must try to keep their security system up to date as cybercriminals are getting smarter day by day and in order to be safe companies have to take steps for keeping their system as smarter and up to date as criminals. Companies should appoint researchers who can think like the cybercriminals and be able to outdo them. These researchers should be able to protect their firm from any sort of breach.

The cyber-world is getting riskier and riskier for the small businesses to operate in due to the posed threats of hacking and cyber-attacks. More often than not we get to come across stories where curious and ambitious tweens rip apart a person's honest day's work just out of curiosity and then they brag about it as to how they breached a business' cyber network and brought it to shreds. On the other hand, there are hackers who breach into a company’s profile to phish for information and cause it a lot of damage. Jason Rorie says in his book, Small Business – A Hacker’s Playground (978-1071086070), that small businesses get affected 98% of the times as a result of hacking and cyber-attacks.
