Trusting God in Adversity

Life can be difficult, and nobodyhas promised you a rose garden. Some people seem brave enough to face the hardships of life and behave better at the other end. They can even climb mountains that seem impossible in their lives. Others seem unable to recover from the difficulties and eventually become sore, blaming others or God for their misfortune, or merely falling into depression. Those who can survive or even grow in challenges are usually those who have faith in God and believe that He will help them in difficult times. The author Pamela Kershawwrites in her book "My Life is Gracefully Broken,"understanding God's word, obeying it to put my life on the right track was the reason behind my ability to cope up with every challenge of life.

This article highlights how to trust God upon facing any adversity in life.

1) God's Power

Focus on the power of God, not the size of the problem. No matter how big your obstacle may seem in your life, be reassured that as long as you trust God to help you overcome difficulties, you can reduce it to complete breakdown. God is far greater than any obstacle you face. So don't look at the wall that is blocking you now, but look at God, who is always ready to help you overcome this obstacle.

When you focus on how powerful God is, you will be able to look at your problems from the right perspective and have the confidence to know that you can handle them with God's help. Remember, God — your Creator — knows every detail you go through, cares deeply, wants to help you, and can do anything to help you.

Choose to see your obstacles as an opportunity to develop your character and increase your faith, and believe that God will guide you through the process of overcoming obstacles.

2) God's Plan

Even if there is no rational plan, believe in God's plan. From a limited human perspective, God's plan for your life seems unconventional and mysterious. However, as long as you decide to trust God's plan, you can expect God to fulfill His promise and bring together all your circumstances — even the most difficult of challenges — to achieve good goals.

He has the plans in your best interests, so choose to follow the plan faithfully and seek God's help to solve your problems, rather than try to solve the problem with your limited power. When you need the courage to develop his life plan, ask the Holy Spirit to help you eliminate fear by invoking God's love.

The more you focus on the love of God, the less afraid you will feel. When God reveals His plan to you, follow it as purely as possible. Ready to say "yes" to anything God wants you to do (even if it doesn't make any sense), you will make real progress in overcoming challenges.

3) God's Way

Under any circumstances, one can see the supernatural and follow religiousness. Ask your Holy Spirit to help you recognize God's excellent way of working in all the ordinary situations of your life. Try to stay holy every day, because when you do this, you become reliable, stronger, and better able to overcome challenges.

Put your relationship with God at the center of your life and invite your empowerment when you practice spiritual laws such as prayer, Bible reading, and visiting Churchregularly. Approach your life with loyalty and enthusiasm every day to discover and fulfill God's will for you, and to have God with you.

4) Sacred Company

Be with other believers who are committed to the same goal. Other Christians who also find it difficult to overcome challenges can be heartbroken, remind you of the truth, and inspire you to achieve your goals. The choice is based on a culture of people committed to things of eternal importance. When the pure are separated for God's plan, help one another to eliminate the sinful activities.

Get ready for a happy season and try to learn all the valuable experiences that God will teach you, because the obstacles are slowly breaking down, and you're sure to experience a season of joy at the end of your journey. Pay attention to the signs of hope that God has given you. When you do, praise God for who He is and what He has done for you, God gives you great victory!
