A lot of people spend their lives running after the happiness that they do not even know exists or not. But, while running after all that happiness we tend to forget that there is a possibility that all that happiness is probably not enough. What happens if one day we realize that happiness is not all we need?
We always notice people wanting more and their demands keep increasing and they keep asking for more and more, and this greed to just have it all is creating a lot of issues for mankind without even us realizing. Yet, it is not possible to chase your dreams all the time; it is better to take a break and step back and be happy with what you achieved. Willie T. Lawson says in his book, Deliverance from the Power of Depression, that a lot of people in this world dream but only a few of them are able to fulfill them so never let go of your dreams. Life is a precious gift and we only get to live it once so, live to the fullest and live it on your own terms your life your rules.
So, what exactly gives our lives meaning if not happiness? The most problematic issue that most of the people face is that they keep their focus on the issues and the hurdles. Nobody is here to claim that happiness is not a good thing but, we are considering the possibility if happiness alone is enough to give meaning to our lives. So, the art of happiness and a life well-led does not lie in the amount of happiness a person gets to experience throughout their lifetime and there are a lot of greater goods and purposes out there that can contribute to giving your life meaning.
