How does our society perceive education?

Education takes a big part in everyone's childhood. Everyone wants good education to live a better life in the future. Parents work hard so that their children can get a quality education. Because it is understood that a person with an education will only be the one to get to work in any profession. Hence education I the key to success because it offers a person to live a productive life and affects their personality.

The book, Finding a New Perspective for Urban Education in America (ISBN 978-1951630072), says that people claim that education is one of the most essential factors that contribute to the progress and prosperity of any society or nation. It is considered to be a basic human right in almost every country and every part of the world.

a. Better Job Opportunities:

Education is directly proportional to a person's living, the better education a person has the will get more opportunities in finding a good job. Employers hire people on the basis of their education level although it is not necessary for all positions. A person’s education level can be shown in a particular field of interest. It is true that nothing can replace experience but even it cannot compare to having a degree in a certain field. Education does not mean to go to school. It means a set of skills, motivation, and self-discipline.

b. Strong Character of a Person:

Education plays an important role in building a strong and complete character. It teaches people to look at everything with a changed look, as it opens the door of our minds and compels us to think beyond imagination. Classrooms are one of the ideals places for discussing all kinds of subjects. At the same time, education encourages people to develop their social skills, problem-solving skills, and creative skills. Parents do their best to pick a good school for their children. They search for different options and pick up the best.

“The function of education is to teach one to think intensively and to think intensively and to think critically. Intelligence plus character is the goal of true education.''-Dr.Martin Luther King, Jr.

c. Responsible Citizens:

All developing countries must have a good education system. Poor standards are considered as a disability to society. Although educated people are considered to be able to solve their problems. Hence education is the backbone of every nation. Modern society is based on people with high living standards and high quality of education which they practically use in finding the best solutions for different problems. As it is a fact that education is innovation. One can come up with innovative and creative ideas only if he/she knows how to work with different technologies and machines. In conclusion, every society must have a good education system for a better future. The people who will be leading tomorrow must be inspired and formed today.

So, even despite the fact that the opinion of people differ from each other when it comes to education, it is very evident that according to all of those perspectives, education has turned out to be a very important aspect when it comes to the personal and social development of an individual in the society.
