If we observe daily human life which is almost filled with solving various problems, trying to keep up with time, doing our best it is pretty normal that we often forget to share our happiness and sadness as well if there is any. The people around us cease to exist, and this is where the problem starts. Out of our daily routine always remember to share your joy with others. When you make them happy, imagine by giving them a compliment, a smile or by supporting them they will probably do the same to you. It is true that you are not spreading love to get benefits but you will get them anyways.
Buddha is known to have said: With our thoughts, we make the world. This just does not mean that you have to live your life in imagination but the theory implies that you should keep the distance from negative thoughts and at least in your mind create a positive, happy place. The happy place is entirely clear of the negative and unsupportive thoughts that you may use to have.
“A mathematical formula for happiness: Reality divided by Expectations. There were two ways to be happy: improve your reality or lower your expectations.”― Jodi Picoult, Nineteen Minutes. In the eyes of Picoult happiness can be attained either if we lower our expectations or improve our reality. The best way is to lower your expectations. Lowering your expectations just does not mean that you should aim lower or that you are not enough capable of meeting your expectations. It just means that you work hard as much as you can and if you do meet your expectations or more than be happy but if not don't be sad. So lowering your expectation means that you just do your best without expecting that much success, which means detaching from outcome or result. And always remember while you are at achieving your goal always enjoy your path to success.
Do not think that outcomes decides what you have achieved, because it does not. How much you have learned throughout your journey is what that matters. Razy Hague in her book, Behind the Looking Glass (978-1951630799), says that a lot of people in this world dream but only a few of them are able to fulfill them so never let go of your dreams. Life is a precious gift and we only get to live it once so, live to the fullest and live it on your own terms your life your rules. “The power of finding beauty in the humblest things makes home happy and life lovely.” ― Louisa May Alcott
