Throughout life, faithful believer and author, Olayinka Olusola Akisanya faced many trials and tribulations. In a way, she had foreseen these troubles early in life but never felt her faith in God and Jesus Christ wither away. Instead, facing adversities only strengthened and solidified Akisanya’s faith in her creator. In her latest book, Surviving the Opposite 978-1951630836, she talks about why God allows adversities in life, their purpose, and how we can benefit from them. In the Holy Bible, we read about God’s most beloved prophets facing some of the biggest trials in their life, trials, and tribulations we cannot even fathom, to begin with. These trials, which they overcame gracefully, only benefited their faith.
The adversities God allows in our lives always have a reason or purpose. Sometimes, it is to help us grow out of situations that are not meant for us. And at other times, we are presented with them to help us rely on Christ and his teachings. In the fast-paced world, we are living in today, we often find ourselves drifting away from Christian values. So, to get back in touch with our religious and spiritual side, God may allow adversities to come our way. With Akisanya’s book, you can learn how to survive them as well as benefit from them. God’s words are the most helpful during dark times. They will shed light on the right path to help us the top again.
