Amazing Facts about the Power of Our Dreams

Everyone has dreams that fascinate them and make them, curious. But, have we ever stopped for a moment and thought for a while as to what is the phenomenon behind us dreaming? The process of dreaming is divided into four main stages. It is by going through all these stages, that the process of dreaming comes to an end and we experience what we experience while dreaming.

Truth be told, there are two kinds of dreams that a person has, one is when he dreams of achieving a particular thing and plans for it in the light of the day and the other one is that is stimulated by a person's subconscious while they are asleep. Both kinds of dreams are controlled by our minds. The first and foremost stage of dreaming occurs when the central nervous system in the person's mind starts to act up. A person only dreams when they are in the deepest phase of their sleep and the brain is experiencing delta waves.

Here are some of the most amazing facts about a person dreaming that you would have never heard of before:

a. The human brain has the capability to control dreams even in the deepest of sleep. It can manipulate the dreams too such as, you would never fully remember a dream that is disturbing and your brain will erase it from your memory in order to save your trouble.

b. Most of the time it happens that our brain makes us dream of the activities that we actually want to do for instance, if the body is dehydrated and in need of water you might end up having a dream where you are thirsty and would wake up wanting water.

c. One of the main reasons for us not remembering what happened in our dreams is the fact that we do not dream in the same language that we speak in real life. The language that our brain uses to depict our dreams is mostly indirect and symbolic which is why we do not understand most of the part of our dreams.

Then there is the other kind of dreams. The dreams that we have for ourselves during the day. The things that we want to achieve for ourselves and the stuff we want to put on our side of the ledger. John Van Geem depicts in his novel, Ellipse (978-1952263026), where the scenes of a village were shown when strange events take place due to an unworldly invasion of time and the young man starts his journey towards the greater achievements proving that some people realize it later in their lives when they do not have the energy or power to follow their dreams and at that time they regret the decision of not following their dreams the most.
